A monthly printed letter mailed to subscribers — an editorial record of what the studio is thinking about, making, and discovering, raw alongside the considered, unfinished alongside the complete. Each issue includes a pre-stamped postcard tucked inside for readers to write back.

Every volume ships on the 15th. Subscribe by the 12th to receive that month's issue. Subscribe after the 12th and your first volume ships on the 15th of the following month. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.

USA shipping is on us. 

International orders ship with a small additional fee added at checkout — and we always tuck something extra inside as a thank you.

  • Both, honestly. It's a printed zine — more considered than a letter, more personal than a magazine. Each issue is its own object.

  • Every volume ships on the 15th. Subscribe by the 12th to receive that month's issue. Subscribe after the 12th and your first issue ships on the 15th of the following month. Delivery time varies by location but typically arrives within a week or two of shipping.

  • Yes, and we handle gifts a little differently. When someone is receiving this as a surprise, we want to make sure their first volume arrives with the right introduction. Reach out to inquiries@ateliergryphon.com and we'll take care of it personally.

  • We can't control how the postal service handles things, but if your issue arrives substantially damaged, send us a photo and we'll do our best to replace it.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or quarterly depending on your plan. Cancel anytime through your account or by emailing us. No hoops or hard feelings. We'd rather the relationship be mutual.
